As AIMA grows, we are actively seeking community organisations, event partners, sponsors, and cultural leaders across Australia to help expand AIMA nationally.
Our vision is to create a platform that recognises talent and contribution across arts, leadership, volunteering, innovation, and multicultural excellence—not only in Melbourne, but across every Australian state and territory.

How AIMA Started
How AIMA Started
AIMA’s journey began during the global COVID-19 pandemic — a challenging period marked by uncertainty, isolation, and emotional stress for communities worldwide.
In April 2020, Mr. Prabhakar Agraja launched “Covid Geethmala,” an online musical initiative designed to spread positivity, encourage people to stay connected, and provide emotional comfort through music and cultural engagement.
The initiative brought together talented singers, artists, and performers from India and Australia, creating a vibrant online community where people could relax, interact, and support one another through difficult times.
As the initiative gained recognition and community support, it evolved into a broader multicultural platform focused on celebrating talent, unity, leadership, and cultural excellence across Australia.
